Few things get Sarah Jensen as excited as
online communities. Building them, that is. Although
a native New Yorker, she has been living the past five years
in Stockholm, Sweden, where until recently she worked as a web project manager
at the fiction department of Sveriges Television (SVT), the
Swedish public service television company.
The website Lilla Melodifestivalen that Sarah mananged at SVT is currently nominated for Prix Jeunesse 2006.
In New York Sarah managed a community of 250,000 young Americans
through the website iTurf.com, all while designing user interfaces
and planning the site's information architecture.
Her usability expertise and animation skills have blessed
organisations such as College Broadband, iTurf.com, British
Telecom (BT), Antenna Design, OVEN Digital and Sundial Mobile
Solutions.
Sarah has a Masters degree from New York University's Tisch
School of the Arts in Interactive Telecommunications (1999).
She graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts
in Art History and Filmmaking (1995).
